With a deep passion for equity, justice, and accessibility Lafi seeks to apply this in all of their work.
Speaking up through their art and sharing resources, they hope to create a tangible lasting impact.
At this time, Lafi is illustrating and editing videos for art based organizations in New York like Westbeth Artists Housing, The Watermill Center, and The Field.
Outside of their career, free time is spent researching and sharing resources to marginalized communities in Asia and
North America. They are also a Volunteer Designer for Full Potential and Black Trans

Born and raised in Hudson County, NJ, Lafi went on to study LGBTQ+ studies, Theater, Music, and NonProfit Administration at Rutgers University-Newark & NJIT. Lafi works full time freelancing in visual art, archival, &
educational projects.
Currently residing in the Bronx, NY, they have been able to connect to the same beloved borough their Grandfather first lived in when immigrating from Mukhmas, Palestine.
